
Research Area The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden
has a Research Area of approximately 30 hectares. This site is on the western side of the Stuart
Highway, separated from the main body of the AALBG by the highway. The Research Area includes
open chenopod plain and Western Myall woodland. The site is available for research groups to conduct
appropriate plant trials and research. Water is available. The site is well fenced, accessible
to the Stuart Highway and is not open to the public. The Secretary Photos:
